How to Contact and/or Send Money to Alabama Jail Inmates
You can visit the inmate if you are on the approved visitation list. The facility of incarceration must be contacted for the most up to date information. Alternatively, you can write to an Alabama inmate through the U.S. postal system only. (Private mail operators are disallowed.) The envelope should have the name of the inmate, the number of the inmate, and the location of the institution written on it. Packages and parcels with food, clothing, and other materials are prohibited from being sent.
