How to Research Arizona Prison Inmate Information
The Arizona Department of Corrections Inmate Datasearch is a web-based search tool that allows users to find information related to the inmates held in the correctional facilities of Arizona. It contains more than 112,000 inmate records, including around 26,000 records of inmates who are currently incarcerated. The information in the database is recompiled weekly.

The search page is a helpful tool which will assist you in locating and displaying inmate information. Your options on this page include:
Arizona Department of Corrections Home: takes you to the home page of the DOC.
Death Row List: displays the records of all inmates currently on death row in Arizona.
Most Wanted List: displays Arizona’s most wanted escaped fugitives.
All male escapees: displays the list of all male inmates who are currently on the escape list.
All female escapees: displays the list of all female inmates who are currently on the escape list.

Searching for Inmate Records
You can use an inmate's ADC number, which is a six-digit identification number, to find him or her if you know it. Enter the number in the left field and click the Go button. Using an inmate's ADC number will quickly pull up his or her record.
You can also search by an inmate’s last name and first initial if you do not know the inmate's ADC number. If you search by last name, the database will return the results of inmates whose names closely match the entered criteria. You can narrow down the search by selecting male or female and active or inactive. The default search mode is to look for inmates both male and female, active and inactive. Searching by ADC number will override the default mode and search the entire database.
The search tool may return results for inmates who are being subjected to community supervision. The webpage will display the total number of records that it finds, in alphabetical order; once the results are displayed, scroll down to the desired inmate record and click on the inmate number to display the individual's information.
The inmate record page will display the following information:
- Basic inmate data
- Commitment information
- Sentence information
- Infractions
- Profile classification
- Parole action
- Work program
- Aliases
- Parole placement
- Warrant information
