California Area Code Directory Information

Area codes are numbers that are used to designate a particular area in the telecommunications network. An area code is thus an integral part of the overall telecommunications structure of a city.

Plan of Area codes

Some states have a single operational area code, others have multiple codes. States like Florida, Texas and California fall under the category of states that have several area codes. States that have more than one area code have a three digit code with 1 in the middle.
