The birth and death records are available from 1900 and 1910 respectively. Requests received by mail or fax are also processed. It is also possible to order a copy online.
Marriage and Divorce Records
The Colorado public records pertaining to the marriage details of the state residents can be obtained from the vital records division of the State public health department as well. Records can be traced back to the year 1975 with the earlier records available between the years of 1900 to 1939. The records are available to any individual on request. The reason for accessing the marriage records may however be stated categorically during the submission of the request.
All dissolution records concerned with separation, annulments as well as divorce proceedings are available from the same department as well. The periods between 1940 to 1967 are not available from the department and the records section of the concerned county court needs to be contacted in order to retrieve them. The current records can be requested by mail or in person from the department in exchange for the requisite fee via money order or credit card.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (http://sor.state.co.us/index.cfm?SOR=captcha.lverify) has information about the known sex offenders of the state.
