Reasons for Arrest Record Search:

Checking out the arrest records becomes essential especially when you need information on a job applicant or a new domestic help. Hiring live in nannies without conducting a proper background check will only jeopardize the safety of your children. Most individuals are eager to obtain specific information about their spouse too particularly if they suspect that something is amiss.

It is relatively easy to conduct an appropriate criminal records search in today’s day and age. Going through the arrest records is a good way of ensuring personal safety as well. Generally there is no opposition from the local enforcement agencies if you request access to the arrest records of the wanted criminals or known sex offenders. But certain records may be restricted particularly if they are deemed to be harmful to the public security.

The records containing details of the juvenile offenders are not permitted to be viewed by the public too. The arrest records of the Arkansas County are public records as well and can be retrieved by a number of legitimate means. These records are not the same as incarceration records as the charges against the detainee may have resulted in a dismissal or acquittal.

The arrests are made by the officers attached to the Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office located at 202 N Main St, Dewitt, Arkansas 72042.  The requests for obtaining information about the specific arrest records may also be made over telephone at (870)946-3161. But the Sheriff’s office requires the arrest warrant to be issued by the criminal magistrate of the city court. A search warrant is normally issued according to  Rule 13.1 whereas the  issuance of an arrest warrant is done in accordance with the Rule 7.1 or by following the  Arkansas Code § 16-81-104.
