The Missouri Sex Offender Registry is based on the registration program functioning in the state. According to this program, all individuals convicted of certain sex crimes that need to register with the authorities must do so within 3 days from their date of conviction or from their release from a jail or prison or from the date of their sentence of probation. Any out-of-state sex offender also needs to register with the Missouri Sex Offender Registry within 3 days of relocating in the state.
