The driving records in the New Mexico State are also referred to as MVRs. In addition it is also possible to request for a copy of your driving records over the mail. Box 1028, Santa Fe, NM 87504-1028.

It is possible to access the public information part of another individual’s driving records in the state of New Mexico. But to request for the personal information contained in another individual’s driving record you need to acquire their consent. This is mandatory under the Driver Privacy Protection Act of 1997.

The state of New Mexico also allows you to look up the details contained in the public information bit of your driving record so that others cannot view any citations that are listed in your record. But there are certain restrictions which are applicable to this feature as well. These include any pending court cases against you, any accidents that you were involved in and any DWI or DUI offenses or convictions.
