Oklahoma City Court Information
Oklahoma Municipal Court is one of the two primary courts for trial in Oklahoma. It handles the cases that deal with traffic rule violations and criminal offenses of municipal ordinances. There are two types of municipal courts: of-record and not-of-record. The of-record municipal court of Oklahoma City hears cases related to traffic and parking, environmental and criminal offenses or some misdemeanor cases. Not-of-record court hears cases related to municipal ordinances violation only. This particular division of Oklahoma City Court is of limited jurisdiction and is locally funded.
Court Administration
Oklahoma City municipal court administration takes care of all the activities that are related to issuing warrants, probation of a convict, service of arrest warrants, etc. There are four judges in this court. However, if you are looking for the information online, you should know certain facts about the system. First of all, the new case issued takes three to four working days to be updated on the database. Similarly, if you want to confirm a payment of fines or other court fees, it will take a minimum of twenty-four hours to be posted in system. Making Payments on Fines and Fees
For making payments of parking fines by using a credit card, call the Parking Enforcement Division at (405) 297-2787. To pay your ticket by mail, send the check, money order or credit card information along with the ticket number and a copy of the ticket to:
