The Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma is situated in Muskogee. This court was established in June, 1906. James. H. Payne is currently the Chief Judge for the Eastern District Court in Oklahoma.

The Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma hears both civil and criminal matters. All appeals from this Court, except claims against the government of the United States and cases involving claims for patents (which are heard by the Federal Circuit) are taken up by the Court of Appeals of the 10th Circuit.

Federal District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma
The Federal District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma was established in June 1906 and has 7 judges assigned to the court. Vicki Miles La Grange is the Chief Judge of this court. Federal District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma
The Federal District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma State was established in February 16, 1925 and has 4 judges assigned to it. Claire Eagan is the Chief Judge of this court. This court has jurisdiction over counties such as Creek, Craig, Delaware, Nowata, Mayes, Osage, Pawnee, Ottawa, Tulsa, Roger and Washington.
The Northern Federal District Court is located in Tulsa. It hears all cases which deal with civil and criminal matters. All appeals from this court are heard by the Court of Appeals of the 10th Circuit. Appeals that deal with claims against the United States government and claims for patents are heard by the Federal Circuit.
