Oregon Background Check Details
The Oregon State Police allows public access to the criminal history records of the state. This allows a person to conduct his or her own background check and also one on any other individual. However, if you are performing a background check on any other person, you will gain limited access to the information.
The records include any information regarding cases that led to a conviction and records of arrests that are less than one year old which did not result in a dismissal. You may request an Oregon background check either online or via mail or fax.
The Oregon Revised Statutes allow you to search for an individual’s criminal background reports. Criminal justice agencies, law enforcement agencies as well as any other person are entitled to request a background report. The individual whose background report you request will be informed of this by the authorities.
You will receive your copy of the Oregon background report fourteen days after this notification has been sent to the subject,
