Pima County Public Records Information

The Pima County records are managed by the Document and Micrographics Management Division. The storage, restoration as well as the deletion of all county records is the responsibility of the records management department as well. The members of the general public are not authorized to approach the division directly. They have to direct their requests to the concerned departments instead. Court Record Search

An Internet resource http://jp.co.pima.az.us/casesearch/CaseSearch.aspx is provided online for conducting a search by the case number of the court. Criminal, civil as well as traffic violation records can be retrieved by entering either the first or the last name of the concerned individual. The search can also be conducted by the citation number provided in a traffic ticket. The code number of the agency can also be used to limit the results of a search process.

Vital Records

The vital records for all the counties including Pima County are not made available to the public as the state of Arizona is not an open records state. Details of the eligibility and availability of the records can be obtained from the Office of the Vital Records of the Pima County Health Department located at 3950 S. Country Club Rd., Ste. 10, Tucson, AZ 85714.

Land Records

Information about the various land and tax records can be obtained from the office f the recorder, Pima County. While a copy of the records or the images of the related documents can be obtained by mailing to The Pima County Recorder, P.O. Box 3145,  Tucson AZ 85702-3145, the research for finding out the existence of such documents can be carried out online by logging in to http://www.recorder.pima.gov/public/.

Law Enforcement Records

All the law enforcement records of the local Sheriff’s department can be accessed from the records maintenance division of the department. The residents of Pima County can request for the local conviction and arrest records in person or by writing in to the department at 1650 E. Benson Hwy, Suite C, and Tucson, AZ 85714-1758.
