Pinellas County Court in Florida is a sub-division of 6th Judicial Circuit of the state. This Circuit has two Counties- Pasco and Pinellas. Though larger in area, in regard to population Pasco is smaller than Pinellas County. Hence, the jurisdiction of the county is broader with 34 Circuit Court Judges, 17 County Court Judges and 5 Court facilities.
Pinellas County Court Jurisdiction
Pinellas County Court is a court with limited jurisdiction. It hears the cases of misdemeanor charges. It also hears the cases of all kinds of civil and municipal ordinance violations. When it comes to the civil matters, the County Court can exercise its total jurisdiction where the disputed matter does not involve a sum above $15,000, excluding interest and all other costs. If the matter is under exclusive jurisdiction of the Circuit Court, the County Court of Pinellas cannot hear it.

To access the civil, probate or any official records of the County Court of Florida, you can mail your request to the clerk’s office. The mailing address of the office is 315 Court Street, Clearwater, FL 33756. The room numbers of Civil records, Probate records and Official records are 170, 106 and 163 respectively. Payments to the Court

You can also pay the fine or any outstanding amount by calling up at 727-464-4846. This is an automated phone service which can be accessed at any hour of the day. You will get information on court hearings and other details from the same link. However, the website may take 3-6 business days to update the traffic ticket citation and another 5-6 business days to update the payment in its database.
To pay the fines for traffic tickets in cash, money order or check, there are three courthouse locations with drop boxes. These locations are County Criminal Court Records, Criminal Justice Center, 14250 49th Street, North, Clearwater, FL 33762; Records Center, 14155 49th Street, North Clearwater, Fl 33762 and Probate Court Records, Clearwater Courthouse, 315 Court St., Room 106, Clearwater, FL 33756.

The office hours of the County Court are 8 am to 5 pm on all weekdays. This office remains closed on all public holidays. The public records can be accessed online at any hour except on Sundays from 3 to 7 in evening. The website remains down weekly for the routine maintenance. You can also search records as a guest or visitor, but in this case your access would be limited. For frequent searches, subscription is required.
