* Incarceration history including the offense, county and court of conviction of offenses in previous cases of incarceration
* Projected Release Date
The social security number of the offender or photograph of the individual is not available for public use from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Texas Inmates: Information Request over the Telephone
Request for inmate information in Texas can be made either via telephone or online. For requests over telephone, call the Offender Locator/General Information Line – Huntsville at (936) 295-6371 or (800) 535-0283. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You need to provide the SID or TDCJ Number in order to access the information over telephone. Otherwise you need to give the exact date of birth of the individual you are searching for. Without either your request wouldn’t be processed.
Texas Inmates: Information Request over the Internet
Online inmate search is available from the website of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Visit http://168.51.178.33/webapp/TDCJ/index2.htm and submit certain information to conduct a search. You can conduct your search on the basis of the full name and/or the SID or TDCJ Number. Specifying the race and sex of the offender also helps in narrowing down the search.
You can also send an email to classify@tdcj.state.tx.us to access Texas inmate information. Mention the full name of the offender you are looking for and the TDCJ Number (all 7 digits). If you don’t have these details it is necessary to furnish either the exact date of birth or the approximate age and the county of conviction. Your email must have the name of the offender in the subject line in order to process your request.
