Contact Details of U. S. Senators

The upper house of the Bicameral United States Congress is known as the United States Senate. Every state in United States is represented by two members of the Senate and they are known as U.S Senators.

Divisions of US Senators

Senators are divided into three categories and serve terms of six years. This is done to ensure that only one third of the Senate will be up for election for every two years. In this way it is also established that the Senate becomes a “continuing body” so that it can be shielded from abrupt re-courses in national estimations. Even though both of the houses of Congress contribute essentially same powers, the particular omnipotence of proposal and endorsement lies with the Senate in order to confirm the selection of the President and also to sanction pacts.
