The Utah County Jail is under the supervision of the Utah County sheriff’s office. Convicts sentenced to short jail terms and individuals awaiting trial are kept under incarceration at the Utah County Jail. It is the responsibility of the county sheriff and the associated staff to supervise the inmates held in Utah County Jail. The jail is capable of housing 1019 inmates at any given time; prisoners of all security levels can be held at this jail. The housing area is divided into 13 housing units for men and five housing units for women. Four additional housing units are also under construction.

To use this online service, visit http://www.co.utah.ut.us/dept/sheriff/Corrections/InmateSearch.asp. You can search based on two criteria: inmate name or arrest date. After you enter the search criteria and click on the search option, the website will display a list of all matching inmates. If the name of the individual whose record you wish to view appears in the list, simply click on the inmate's name to view his or her details. If the search engine does not return the desired result, try searching again. The information on Utah County Jail inmates that is accessible to the public includes:

The staff working in the Utah County Jail Housing Division is comprised of two Housing Division Lieutenants, eight Housing Division Sergeants, 79 Housing Division Deputies, and 14 Housing Division Civilian personnel.

Utah County Jail inmates are allowed two visitation periods every week, each 30 minutes long. Visitation times are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It is preferable to schedule visitations in ahead by appointment.
