Of these almost 99% have complied with the laws of the land and there is an active warrant issued against 24 offenders for violation of the statute.

The offenders in the state need to register within 3 days of their release from prison. If an offender has moved into the state, then he has to register with the local law enforcement within a period of 10 working days. The same time frame for sex offender registration applies to the ones who have had a change of residential address. Offenders who are in the state for a brief period of time, for a span of more than 15 days, also need to register with the local law enforcement agencies.
