The New Hampshire Department of Safety administers over the process of the sex offender registration. The following persons are required to register with the administering authority:
• Sexual offenders or offenders against children must register with the Department of Safety

Information concerning any person who is required to register as a sex offender is available to the department from his or her criminal records and motor vehicle records. If however, for some reason the person no longer needs to register, the department notifies the motor vehicles and the necessary changes in the records are made.
At the time of registering, a New Hampshire sex offender must enclose his or her recent photographs, full name, any alias name, and date of birth and place of birth, fingerprints, and details pertaining to the case he was convicted of along with his registration application.
The offender is also required to report in person to the local law enforcement agency. The offender must report to register within 5 working days following his or her release or 5 business days after the establishment of his or her residence. In case of multiple residences, the offender must specify the primary residence address and also mention addresses of all the other addresses. After registration is done, the offender [if tier1 and tier 2] should report to the agency semi-annually within 5 days after each anniversary of his DOB and every 6 months after that.
Each time a New Hampshire sex offender reports to the agency, he or she must provide name, email addresses, aliases, and any other Internet identities used, addresses of all permanent and temporary residences, details of any employment, license plate number of any vehicle that the offender is operating, professional licenses authorizing the offender to engage in any sort of business, and original date of birth. The agency will take a fresh photograph of the offender every time he or she appears for reporting.
